Talkshow: Protecting Steel Manufacturers in a Pincer Movement
11/07/2024 5In recent years, the Vietnamese steel industry has faced numerous trade remedy investigations across various foreign markets, particularly in major export destinations. Policy barriers in these export markets, combined with competitive pressure from imported goods in the domestic market, have been likened to a "pincer movement" squeezing domestic steel enterprises.
In this context, to collectively identify the challenges facing businesses and the steel market, as well as to suggest and propose policies to protect steel manufacturing enterprises, Vietnam Investment Review’s "Monday Dialogue" program features the topic: "Protecting Steel Manufacturers in a Pincer Movement."
