"We made progress. There are still a couple of substantial issues we are negotiating and we will meet again tomorrow," Robb said after a five-hour session with Japanese Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Yoshimasu Hayashi in Tokyo on Saturday. Robb described the meeting as exhausting.

WASHINGTON, April 4 (Xinhua) -- A U.S. government agency decided on Friday to maintain the existing antidumping duty on crawfish tail meat from China, despite Beijing's repeated calls for Washington to drop protectionism. The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) said in a ruling that revoking the current antidumping duty orders on crawfish tail meat from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.

HCM CITY (VNS)— The US Department of Commerce on March 31 announced its final decision on the ninth results of its administrative review (POR9) for anti-dumping duties on tra fish fillets imported from Viet Nam, the Viet Nam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) has said. Under the decision, Vietnamese frozen tra fish filets exported to the US are subjected to anti-dumping taxes.

To boost domestic silk production, Assocham has urged the government to extend anti-dumping duty on raw silk imports from China, which have grown by 7 per cent during the last 12 years, till December 2015. The Government had imposed antidumping duty on imports of Mulberry Raw Silk of 2A grade and below from China in January 2003, which remained in force until January 2008 and was subsequently extended till January 2014 after a sunset review.
