VN, Argentina boost trade relations
07/11/2012 54HA NOI (VNS)— The third meeting of the Viet Nam-Argentina economic-trade joint committee was held in Ha Noi yesterday to seek ways to diversify exports, increase trade value and lift the two countries' bilateral ties to new heights.
At the meeting, the two sides committed to creating favourable conditions for each country to conduct trade with each other.
In the agricultural sector, they specified co-operation projects and planned to implement them.
Viet Nam welcomed investors from Argentina to the country, especially in energy, oil and gas, and bio-fuel. It thanked Argentina for facilitating the erection of a statue of President Ho Chi Minh in Buenos Aires.
The country also highly valued the signing of an MoU on science and technology co-operation and thanked Argentina for its help in training forensic personnel.
