Vietnam has carried out a probe into Cambodian cane sugar products following allegations of trade law circumventions while an Indonesian firm was found guilty of violating anti-dumping rules, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Chairman of the Vietnam Sugarcane and Sugar Association Nguyen Van Loc said that in February, sugar prices in Vietnam dropped sharply due to weak post-Tet (Lunar New Year) market demand, while supply remained abundant.
