Ukraine, Turkey complete tenth round of FTA talks
09/05/2018 79Ukraine and Turkey have completed the tenth round of talks on conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement.
This is reported by the press service of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine.
"This round was not easy as we advocate the opening of the most profitable opportunities for Ukraine and Ukrainian exporters in the Turkish market.
Therefore, we used this round for detailed consideration of the issues of access to the agricultural commodity markets. Our task is to create conditions for the exports of the processed high added value products, the products involving the latest technologies, because the latest technologies are also being used actively in the food and processing industry," said Natalia Mykolska, the head of the negotiating delegation from Ukraine, Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine and Ukraine's trade representative.
According to her, the government is working step by step to open new export markets for Ukrainian business and increase opportunities in existing markets as exports qualitatively change the country.
During this round of talks, the delegations made a progress in the issues regarding the access to the telecommunications and e-commerce markets.
