"Handbook on customs procedures for verifying the origin of goods under FTAs" is compiled to synthesize the legal framework and guide the procedures for verifying and determining the origin of imported goods, directly serving the state management of customs. The document is developed in the context of Vietnam implementing 17 signed FTAs. Therefore, the correct and consistent application of rules of origin is of particular importance, ensuring compliance with international commitments while contributing to improved effectiveness and efficiency in management.

This handbook serves as a key operational document to ensure transparency, accuracy, and consistency in the application of rules of origin; and to support businesses in fully utilizing the benefits of FTAs ​​and enhancing the control capacity of customs authorities in the context of deep international economic integration.
