BRICS to Promote Cooperation With WTO, G20 Members - Russian Minister
07/07/2015 70BRICS plans to promote new active cooperation with non-members of the organization to include countries from the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the G20 group, Russian Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said Tuesday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia, which is currently chairing the BRICS organization, plans to create a roadmap for trade, economy and investment cooperation through 2020, Ulyukayev said.
“Particular attention is attached to promote a new active cooperation with non-BRICS countries and coordination of BRICS position in international organizations such as the WTO and the G20,” Ulyukayev said.
“The Russian part of the roadmap is already completed and includes around 50 projects, proposals of the Russian companies and industries…Among the most interesting projects I would mention the creation of the international consortium for the development of satellite navigation technologies.”
