Vietnam reviews anti-dumping tax on MSG from China, Indonesia
06/10/2021 101The Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued a decision reviewing the anti-dumping measures against some monosodium glutamate (MSG) products imported from China and Indonesia.
The ministry had earlier imposed anti-dumping duties on such products following a decision issued on July 22, 2020.
The investigation’s findings showed that dumped MSG from the two countries threatened to seriously harm domestic manufacturing.
According to Vietnam’s law on foreign trade management, the parties concerned are eligible to submit documents asking for a review of anti-dumping measures one year after they come into force.
