The primary objective of this publication is to address practical cases related to the issuance of the EUR.1 Certificate of Origin under the UKVFTA and to provide guidance on the interpretation of product-specific rules of origin in order to benefit from UKVFTA preferential tariffs. The publication serves as a convenient and user-friendly reference for import export activities, contributing to the enhancement of the country’s export turnover. With the above objectives, the authors have compiled the publication with the following main sections:

Part 1: Practical Q&A on the issuance of the EUR.1 Certificate of Origin under the UKVFTA.

Part 2: Guidance on the interpretation of UKVFTA product-specific rules of origin.

In addition, the publication provides a number of useful reference links to facilitate the effective application of rules of origin for enjoying UKVFTA tariff preferences. This publication is a specialized reference document, does not have legally binding effect, and may be cited provided that the source of information is clearly acknowledged. The copyright of the publication belongs to the authoring team.
