APEC Outcomes and Outlook 2016/2017

As APEC heads to Viet Nam in 2017 under the theme, “Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future”, a regional agenda with the following priorities are put forward: Promoting sustainable, innovative, and inclusive growth; Deepening regional economic integration; Strengthening MSMEs’ competitiveness and innovation in the digital age; and Enhancing food security and sustainable agriculture in response to climate change. This publication also looks back at the outcomes of APEC Peru 2016 and the the 24th APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Lima, Peru.
