Innovative start-up businesses (startups) are a group of 03 small and medium-sized enterprises in particular for SME Law. As businesses can create momentum for building and developing the economy in the digital economy era and the industrial revolution 4.0, startups deserve to be the group that receives the attention and the solutions to support development from the State as well as society.
This study was carried out with the aim of assessing the current status and policy expectations for Vietnamese startups, selecting and analyzing the experience of supporting the foreign governments's startups, thereby suggesting models and support mechanisms from a State perspective for startups, firstly the SME Decrees on startups and then related legal documents and policies (Circulars, Resolutions, Decisions, Projects) ... by competent authorities) related to this particular business group.
The study was conducted by the Research Team of the Legal Department, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) with the support of FNF - Germany Institute, completed in November 2017.
